Refund Policy

At The Coal Depot, we take pride in offering quality products that elevate your grilling experience. While we aim for every order to arrive in perfect condition, we understand that there may be situations where a return or refund is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds will be accepted.

We offer returns on selected items — primarily BBQ accessories — within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in a resalable condition. To initiate a return, customers must contact us at thecoaldepot@gmail.com within the 7-day window, including order details and photographs of the product (where applicable) to verify its condition. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Please note that charcoal, wood fuel, fire-starters, and other combustible or consumable products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable due to safety, hygiene, and regulatory reasons. We urge customers to review the product specifications carefully before purchasing these items.

In the rare event that you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear images and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if approved, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate. We reserve the right to decline returns that are reported beyond the acceptable time frame or do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Refunds, once approved, will be processed to the original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days. The timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway provider. Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Please note that return shipping costs must be borne by the customer unless the item received was incorrect or damaged. In such cases, The Coal Depot will provide instructions for a reverse pickup, where serviceable, or reimburse reasonable return courier charges upon submission of proof.

We advise inspecting all deliveries at the time of receipt. If the outer packaging appears tampered with or damaged, please make a note with the delivery partner or refuse the package and inform us immediately.
